The Principals at each MMS campus hold University degrees and Montessori Diplomas and have a combined teaching experience in excess of 40 years. They are passionate in ensuring each student receives a superior educational experience while at our Schools.
MMS employs AMI and MACTE accredited teachers with University degrees. AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) is the worldwide organization founded by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1929 to set international standards in Montessori education. MACTE (Montessori Accreditation Council for Teacher Education) is a North American accreditation council. Primary and Elementary teachers observe other classes, participate in workshops and attend courses as part of their continuing professional development and in supplement of their University degrees and Montessori teachers training.
Our Classroom Assistants have child care backgrounds and most have University degrees. Assistants are required to have completed the AMI Assistants Program or an equivalent. Before and after school care is supervised by experienced child care workers.
The Administrative staff works closely with each Principal to support our Schools offering the highest quality Montessori education. All staff members possess first-aid certification which is updated on a regular basis.
"The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct his own experiences."
