My wife and I knew the High Park Montessori schools were right for our children the first time we sat in on a classroom in action. Looking around, we could see all the children were happily occupied with tasks they had chosen themselves to do. There is a feeling of mutual respect that pervades the classroom environment here, and it is as clear now as it was then that the directresses care for the children and dedicate themselves to providing a stimulating, nurturing environment for them. Our son completed casa earlier this year and will be continuing to elementary, while our daughter is beginning her second year. The personal growth both of them have shown in their time at HPGMS has been dramatic - we sing the praises of this school whenever we can!

I am writing to say how pleased we are with Indrani Singh. She brings such a positive example, attitude and focus to teaching. Her high expectations and enthusiasm for learning have already inspired the students. I have heard many accounts of how proud they are of various science and research projects and how earnest they are regarding future initiatives, such as fundraising for an Ottawa trip.
Secondly, I am writing to express Bud and my sincere gratitude for Hannah's education at Taddle Creek. It has obviously been a bit of a stretch financially for us, but absolutely worth every penny. Hannah loves school, loves Taddle Creek, loves learning, loves her schoolmates, and has the confidence and academic training to move forward successfully. One of the things I value most as a parent is that she and her classmates have very high expectations and focus on achievement, but not at the expense of the success of their peers. They have high expectations for each other. They recognize and value the unique qualities and perspective of each person, and they have learned that when they all encourage each other to be their best and work together, that everyone benefits even more from the contributions of the group. Each individual's best becomes better.
So Bud and I really appreciate your flexibility in working with us because the experience for Hannah has been priceless.
