Overview

MMS is a non-denominational, multicultural community where diversity is always welcome.

As a general rule, children are enrolled in the primary program between the ages of 2 ½ and 4. A child beginning at the School must be toilet trained. A visit to the School by the parents to observe a class is an important first step in the enrolment procedure. The visit and the subsequent interview serve to establish the commitment to similar goals for the child.

After you visit the school of your choice and wish to enroll, submit your application form and a non-refundable fee of $1,000 to the School. Children are enrolled in the School for a full year, and tuition is an annual fee.

Each stage of the Montessori education experience builds on completion of the previous stage. Primary, Lower Elementary and Upper Elementary levels are based on a three- year curriculum. Children are guaranteed a place in the School until they complete the Elementary programs, subject to the School's right to request a child's withdrawal if it is to the benefit of the School as a whole.

The enrolment process is complete when the School receives your application fee along with the signed application form and tuition fee in post dated cheques. You will receive a copy of the application form, along with a welcome package to help prepare you for your child’s first day of school.
