High Park Gardens Montessori School, like the first Casa dei Bambini which was founded by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1907 in Rome, is not just a classroom or a school, but a community. It is a special learning environment designed for your child to touch, experience, care for and learn from.
Deeply rooted in tradition, our School has exemplified a commitment to the Montessori philosophy and pedagogy for over 45 years. High Park Gardens Montessori School has a team of wonderful educators who are dedicated to providing your children with strong academic and social awareness. Our students truly have a love of learning while gaining knowledge of social responsibility, respect, grace and courtesy.

Location
High Park Gardens Montessori School is located at 35 High Park Gardens, across the street from all the natural beauty of High Park. The house and coach house were built in 1911 by Andrew Dodds, a prominent landowner in the area. Listed as a historical site, the house and its coach house have lots of warmth and charm, making for a comfortable learning environment for your young children.
Programs Provided
For a number of school years, we were the only campus that focused solely on the Montessori primary program for children aged 2 1/2 to 6 years, enhanced with French, music, art and sports. But in September 2011, we commenced our Elementary program in the coach house with a class of Grade 1 students. Over the next few years, this program will expand through to Grade 6.
