At Taddle Creek Montessori School our Upper Elementary students have the opportunity to join in the planning and fundraising for a week long trip. Held once every three years, their previous trip was to Drumheller Alberta. Although the destination is not absolutely confirmed, the current students have their fingers crossed for a repeat adventure to Alberta. Below is a letter from one of our 4th year students, describing her fundraiser project:

Get Your Labels!

My name is Lotus and I have started a fundraiser for the Spring 2016 Upper Elementary class trip to Drumheller, Alberta which is the Dinosaur Capital of the World.

When you buy the labels from Mabel’s Labels, we get 20% of all the sales. This year’s fundraiser lasts until June 13, 2015.

The labels from Mabel’s Labels are great because they have lots of fun colours and patterns you and your kids will love!

They have lots of different labels: peel and stick nametags, clothing tags, bag tags, household labels, and kids safety products. The tags stick really well but don’t leave a sticky residue when you take them off and my mom thinks that’s great! And she says they don’t wash off in the sink, dishwasher or washing machine so they’re really sturdy.

They are useful for putting on clothing, backpacks, water bottles and Tupperware… anything your child takes to school or camp. The labels will help your children keep their things organized and keep your home organized too! Just think how small the lost and found will be at school and how much money you’ll save when you don’t have to replace lost items!

You can order your labels or a gift certificate at mabelsfundraising.com, search for “Taddle Creek” and then place your order. (If you place an order directly on Mabel’s Labels website by accident, before ending the session, please place a comment that you want to support Taddle Creek Montessori.)

Feel free to put out the word about our fundraiser to your friends, family and colleagues and put it on your Facebook page too!

Thanks for your support! We Love Dinosaurs!
