Where have you lived in the world?
I was born in Calgary and have lived in Calgary, Victoria, Halifax, Toronto, and NYC.
What have you studied? How long have you been a teacher?
I studied at Alberta College of Art + Design, Nova Scotia College of Art + Design and have completed an MFA and BFA.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English and French, and a little bit of Spanish.
What is something you are really good at?
I am really good at knitting, remembering people's names, parallel parking and salsa dancing.
What do you like to do when you aren’t at school?
I like sewing, knitting, drawing, reading actual books, and going dancing.
What is something not everyone knows about you?
If you knew me really well, you would know that I used to work on a farm and LOVED it! I loved the sound of the piglets chewing their lunches. I also had two pet peacocks when I was five and lived on a farm, but they were not very friendly.
What are some of your most favourite things?
My favourite book is In the Skin of a Lion by Michael Ondaatje. I love houseplants, sweaters, watching clips of Soul train and standup comedy.
