Where have you lived in the world?
I was born in St Jerome, Quebec and have lived in Quebec, Ontario, Massachusetts, and California.
What have you studied? How long have you been a teacher?
I completed an Honours Bachelor of Science at the University of Toronto and my Montessori Casa diploma at Sheridan College from American Montessori Society. I also have a Special Needs Certificate from the Center for Guided Montessori Studies. I have taught for 15 years.
What languages do you speak?
I speak English, and I am learning French and Italian.
What do you like to do when you aren’t at school?
When I am not at school, I like to travel, read anything and everything, and go hiking.
What is something not everyone knows about you?
If you knew me really well, you would know that that I am passionate about our environment/climate change. I am trying to educate the children that I love and spend time with, and spread the word to anyone who wants to listen, about plastics and our oceans/coral reefs.
What are some of your most favourite things?
I love spending time with my husband, Michael and our 2 cats, Wilson and Watson. My favourite book is Anne of Green Gables.
