WHERE HAVE YOU LIVED IN THE WORLD?
I was born in Toronto and I am a proud flag waving Torontonian.
WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?
My passion is education. I have earned an Early Childhood Diploma from the Montessori Teachers College, as well as Elementary Diplomas I and II from the Toronto Montessori Institute. I feel blessed to be able to inspire creative young minds. I have been teaching since 2012.
WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?
I am really good at Origami. I find it fascinating and almost magical that a plain piece of paper can be transformed geometrically into a colourful three dimensional work of art. Cultural tradition even says that if a person folds 1,000 paper cranes, they will be granted one special wish.
WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?
I love losing myself to music especially symphonies and musicals. My all time favourite composition is The Planets by Gustav Holst. Also I am fixated on culinary arts travel shows. Sometimes I even attempt the recipes!
WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?
That I love munching on dark chocolate while taking leisurely nature walks. With any luck I may come across a pair of cardinals or wild bunnies.
