I was born in Kingston, Ontario, and have lived in Ontario, B.C., Alberta, Texas, New Zealand, Sint Maarten, Japan, and China.

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I completed a BA at Western University, an MEd from Endicott College, my AMI Diploma (Primary) from Texas Montessori Center, and my ECE certificate at Pacific Rim Institute, as well as ESL and TEFL certifications. I have been teaching since 1995.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

When I'm not in school I enjoy gardening, hiking and skiing and travelling.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST FAVOURITE THINGS?

My favourite place is our family cottage.
