I was born in Brazil and have lived in Brazil, Russia, UK and Canada.

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I completed my Early Childhood Montessori Assistants Certificate, and have almost completed my Early Childhood Montessori Program Diploma at the Montessori Teachers College in Toronto. I have previously completed Media Studies and a Bachelor of Arts, Broadcasting Radio and Television at the Federal University of Brazil (UFRJ). I have been teaching since 2017.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I am fluent in English and Portuguese.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I am really good at Story Telling and Dance (I was a classical dancer until 21 years old).

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

Outside of school I like to read, (and read aloud), watch movies, go hiking with my children, go traveling and make crafts!

WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well you would know that I love learning people's stories. I can make friends in any bank/coffee line. Also that I ran with the Olympic and Pan American flames in Brazil and it was an honour and lots of fun. And that I live with my husband and two children and we have a fish named Kevin :)
