WHERE HAVE YOU LIVED IN THE WORLD?

I was born in Busan, South Korea. I grew up in London, Ontario and moved to Toronto in 2004.  I also briefly lived in Incheon, South Korea to teach English for almost 2 years.

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I have a B.Sc. in Biology from the University of Western Ontario; B. Ed (P/J) from Lakehead University; and my Casa (EC) from Toronto Montessori Institute.  I have taught since 2005.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I am really good at Sports!  I will try any sport or activity, and I regularly play soccer, tennis, volleyball and softball.  I am also a fan of the Toronto sports teams, especially the Raptors! 

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

I like trying new restaurants and food!  I love to read children and adult books, and browsing through the library or local book store is my "me time."  I also love spending time with my family, exploring the city and travelling when I can. 

WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well you'd know that I am a great listener, helpful, and can usually recommend a good restaurant!
