I was born in Sofia (Bulgaria) and have lived in Sofia, Madrid (Spain), Toulouse (France), Charlotte (North Carolina), Quebec City (Quebec), and Toronto!

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I studied in France, Bulgaria, the United States, and Canada, completing a Master in Didactique du français langue étrangère, Master in teaching Spanish language and literature, Applied Linguistics, and also have Waldorf education. I have taught since 1998.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I speak English, French, Spanish, and Bulgarian.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I am a dedicated learner and I’m skilled at sharing with others my passion for languages and cultures.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

When I am not at school, you will find me making art, hiking, and reading about science and the evolution of language among other things. I love spending time with family and friends and cooking.

WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well, you would know that I like making and decorating birthday cakes for my friends and relatives. And that as a child I attempted to learn the language of animals.

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST FAVOURITE THINGS?

I am passionate about geology and anthropology. Close to Mildenhall Montessori School, with my daughter, I found exposed rock and fossils revealing the tropical sea covering Toronto during the Cambrian period.
