I was born in Sudbury, ON and have lived in Sudbury, Toronto, Nantes, San Francisco, Whistler, and Vancouver.

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I studied at U of T, the Montessori Training Centre of BC, and the California Culinary Academy.  I hold a BA, a Primary Montessori Degree (AMI 3-6), and an Associate Degree in Occupational Studies (Certified Chef, Culinary Arts). I have taught since 2004.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I speak English and French.

I am really good at remembering song lyrics.  

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

When I am not at school, I like to be with my family, reading, and cooking.  

WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well, you would know that I always wanted to be a back up singer.  

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST FAVOURITE THINGS?

My cat: maybe the world’s fattest tabby cat, she’s almost 25 lbs.
