I was born in Ukraine and have lived in Chervonohrad (Ukraine).

WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I studied at Teacher’s College (Ukraine) and the Foundation for Montessori Education (Toronto). I completed a Teacher Diploma (elementary/primary school) in Ukraine, and the Children’s House Assistants Course Certificate in Toronto. I have taught since 1984.

WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I speak English, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish.

Arts and crafts for early childhood development.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

When I am not at school, I like to exercise and spend time with my grandchildren.

If you knew me really well, you would know that I am an excellent cook.
