I was born in Canada and have lived in Sutton, Peterborough and Toronto.

I have my AMI Assistants certificate from Foundation for Montessori Education. I have taught since 1986. I am also a Registered Psychodynamic Psychotherapist. I studied at the School for Psychotherapy and Emotional Bodywork and have been working with clients in private and group sessions since 1994. Prior to working with children, I spent 7 years in Geriatric Care and then began my studies in psychology and early childhood education.

WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I am intuitive, empathetic and highly sensitive...I often can "hear" what is not being said!

If you knew me really well, you would know the number of times I have seen Rod Stewart in concert...Hint: More than 17!!

WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR MOST FAVOURITE THINGS?

Maggie May is my adorable rescue cat who just happens to have the same initials as Maria Montessori and my favourite rap artist.  Her name represents my love of Margaret Trudeau, the month my son was born and so much more...so ask me about my cat and you will get to know my sense of humour and the passion I feel for the Montessori environment!!
