WHERE HAVE YOU LIVED IN THE WORLD?

I was born in Italy and have lived in Sault Ste. Marie, London, and Caledon.


WHAT HAVE YOU STUDIED? HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN A TEACHER?

I studied at University of Western Ontario and completed a BA in Psychology.  I completed my AMS Elementary l & ll Credential at the Center for Montessori Teacher Education in New York. I also have a diploma in TESL.  I have been teaching since 1996.


WHAT LANGUAGES DO YOU SPEAK?

I speak English and Italian.  


WHAT IS SOMETHING YOU ARE REALLY GOOD AT?

I am really good at all things Italian, cooking, directing youth theatre, canoeing, and listening.


WHAT DO YOU LIKE TO DO WHEN YOU AREN’T AT SCHOOL?

When I am not at school, I like fitness, yoga, and teaching ESL classes to new Canadians.  


WHAT IS SOMETHING NOT EVERYONE KNOWS ABOUT YOU?

If you knew me really well, you would know that I love my work!
I'm a huge Toronto Maple Leafs & Blue Jays fan. I love music (especially The Beatles, Sade, Amy Winehouse). I am a voracious reader especially historical fiction. I love to travel. I love my coffee. I'm a good listener and a good friend. I laugh - a lot!

Favorite book: "To Kill a Mockingbird" by Harper Lee
Favorite movie: "Moonstruck"
Favourite destination: Italy (visited 8 times)
Favorite saying: "If it's not going to matter in 5 years , don't spend more than 5 minutes worrying about it."
